Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants (2019) is a video work by Bob Bicknell-Knight concerning the swallowing of small companies by large multinational internet conglomerates. Within the film we take a tour of an abandoned shopping mall in Ohio which, after the rise of internet shopping, has been subsequently bought and demolished by the technology company Amazon. Where once stood a shopping mall, now resides a Fulfillment Centre, the title given by Amazon to their warehouses which packages and processes objects bought on their online store.
